Why I paint

I paint to express my feelings and to represent how I see the world.  I prefer to imply the elements, not the detailed reproduction. The courageous handling of colors means for me to accept mistakes, on the other hand, to be rewarded with fantastic interpretations to find their own truth in the works. Painting demands constant practice, as well as observation and analysis of works of good painters.

I prefer watercolor paints because of the spontanety of the medium and the possibility to combine other techniques such as ink chalk and oilpastel. The basic skills in drawing and painting I have appropriated as audiodidakt – then also by participation in workshops and seminars. I hope that people enjoy my works.
